Angel – She / S01E13 UGH. First, there’s a party at
Cordelia’s that seems pointless except for the opportunity to show Angel
& Wesley dancing like fools. Meanwhile, something is burning
men from the inside out and bursting out their eyeballs. Angel goes to
investigate and meets a demon from another dimension who tells him
something horrible is loose in his city and to butt out. It turns out,
the demon dude is the bad guy. He is trying to round up the hot women
who escape from their control (they’re controlled by removing their
spine… a super obvious metaphor). Angel tracks Bai Ling for a long
time and then realizes she’s not the bad guy. Then they have a
(literally) heated conversation and Bai Ling tells him to eff off. Angel ends up helping Bai Ling and her hot ladies and tells the men to leave town. Dreadfully long, drawn out episode. Buffy – The I in Team / S04E13 Major set-up episode. Buffy is
brought in to The Initiative. Unlike the commandos, she wears a halter
top and asks a lot of questions about the demon she’s sent to hunt. Beating up a demon is foreplay
for Buffy and Riley. Professor Walsh has a secret camera in Riley’s room
and she watches them have sex. GROSS. Walsh gets jealous or something
and quickly decides Buffy is a liability and sends Buffy into a trap
with two “escaped” demons/raccoons who are try to kill her. Buffy
doesn’t die, but Walsh thinks she does. Walsh tells Riley that Buffy’s
dead, then Buffy shows up on camera and tells Walsh she’s toast. Riley
walks out. Spike tells Giles he’s done with
the Scooby team… until Spike gets shot with a tracking dart. Then he is
brought back into the fold. Xander is trying to make money selling energy bars. Willow is becoming friends with
Tara (LESBIANS) and is the one who suggests to Buffy that she may be
jumping in too quickly to the initiative without understanding its full
agenda. Willow does a lot of moping. Tired of moping Willow! Professor Walsh is making a super-human-demon that ends up killing her in ROOM 314. Next: Viewing Guide: From BuffyFest
