Angel - Somnambulist / S01E11 Angel is having dreams about
stalking and killing people. It turns out, he’s dreaming about what his
protege is really doing—reenacting his and Angel’s killing spree before
Angel became cursed by gypsies. Sidenote: The actor who plays
the other vampire (Penn) is Jeremy Renner, from Hurt Locker. Angel hunts down his old friend,
using detective Kate as bait. The detective discovers that Angel is a
vampire… she’s reluctant to believe it, then there’s a really drawn out
montage where she reads books with crazy eyes and learns all about
vampires. Penn shows up at Angel
investigations and pumps Cordelia for information—funny scene where
Cordelia totally saves her own life by opening up the blinds. Kate gets kidnapped by Penn
right from Police HQ … Angel fights him… Kate
stakes Penn by shoving a giant stake through Angel’s stomach. Ew. The actress who plays Kate still
sucks. Angel - Expecting / S01E12 Cordelia has a date! With a
famous photographer! He’s not a monster, just doing the work of a
monster/demon. Cordie hooks up with him and ends up extremely pregnant
the next morning. She is humiliated. Angel & Wesley discover
Cordelia in bed with her giant stomach and vow to save her. Angel goes searching for the guy
who had sex with her and Wesley takes Cordelia to the gynecologist for a
funny scene where she discovers there are 7 monsters in her stomach and
her amino acid is truly acidic. Cordelia becomes possessive of
her “babies”, drinks blood, and eventually knocks out Wesley so she can
go meet up with the demon whose children she is growing (along with a
half-dozen other women). Wesley & Angel work as a
team to freeze the demon and Cordelia’s pregnancy magically disappears.
She’s totally fine the next day and discovers she can trust Wesley and
