Buffy – Doomed / S04E11 An earthquake strikes Sunnydale.
Even Giles just writes it off, but Buffy knows it means something
(there was an earthquake before she died last time). This is a tying-up-loose-ends
episode. Buffy & Riley talk: She
figures out who he is and tells him she’s the slayer. He doesn’t know
what that is. It turns out he’s not big on the mythology of all the
demons, etc. Buffy ends up deciding to go for it with Riley after he
helps her defeat the three demons who are trying to bring about the
apocalypse. Spike gets kicked out of
Xander’s house and plays mind games w/ Xander & Willow about how
they are useless and he’d kill them if he could. Big reveal: Spike can
fight demons and he’s ready to kick some ass! Buffy – A New Man / S04E12 Ethan Rayne is back in town! He
goes drinking with Giles and, the next day, Giles wakes up as a Fyarl
Demon. Riley takes Buffy to talk to
Walsh. Off screen she tells them how much killing she has done. The Funny: Giles thinks he’s speaking
English, but really he’s speaking some scary demon language. Spike can speak Fyarl. They go
on a ride in Giles’ car to find Ethan. Giles (as a demon) takes the
opportunity to terrorize Maggie Walsh. Buffy thinks the demon
killed/kidnapped Giles. Riley helps her find Ethan and then Giles busts
in. Buffy nearly kills him but then sees his eyes and realizes who he
is. Ethan casts a spell to fix Giles and then is taken away by guys from
The Initiative. Interesting: Buffy is ordered NOT to go with Riley to get the Demon. Of course,
she doesn’t obey these orders. Buffy and The Initiative aren’t going to
