do the writers want us to think about over the next 8 months? Was the
cliffhanger the same for everyone? or are we supposed to interpret it
in our own way? Whatever happened, happened So if we take that at its core. Locke is dead. The Losties cause the incident with their bomb. If that is true what can a Variable do? Why was it introduced? Is the BOMB the variable or Daniel? If
the bomb worked the writers could throw away 5 years worth of show and
start over with a 17 episode “How we really wanted it to happen”
version. Not likely. They opened up to many threads at the end with Illana, Jacob, Losties in Peril, Ben, Dead Locke….. WHY DIDN’T SUN GO BACK? This has me thinking: If the Incident is avoided Desmond is still on the island. Speaking
of which—Why did the Other’s keep some Dharma folks working after the
purge? Desmond pushing the button? And the food drops? Locke is dead. His life ended so sad and alone. He would have killed himself if Ben hadn’t done it for him. Will Man #2 keep the Locke form? Is the body in the box actually smokey trying to fool Illana? No. SuperFan Cynthia and the man in the cabin.
